The Matrix Standard is the unique quality framework for organisations to assess and measure their information, advice and/or guidance services, which ultimately supports individuals in their choice of career, learning, work and life goals.
Achiveing the Matrix Standard indicates that the Information, Advice and Guidance services provided at the provision are impartial, effective and inclusive – with a clear process for tracking progress.
Key findings from the report:
- The Service is considered to be warm, friendly and inclusive, offering clients a
non-judgemental, positive approach which is very well received.
- A number of tutors and other staff have been learners themselves with Mediprospects and
this is a positive and aspirational role model for current and future learners.
- Excellent use is made of positive role models, particularly when so many learners have
little initial self-confidence or esteem. They are inspired by their tutors and other staff
and personal career journeys are explored in order to motivate and encourage further and
higher learning.
- Work with partners is excellent and the Company have detailed knowledge of those
organisations with whom they can work to the benefit of learners.
- There is an inclusive approach to working with statutory and voluntary organisations which
supports the development of learning and work outcomes as well as supporting the
aspirational needs of clients.
- The IAG offered is bespoke and individualised. Specialist IAG staff as well as tutors provide up to date, accurate information and guidance which motivates and encourages people to believe in themselves and their abilities to move forward. Many of those interviewed believed they would never have accessed any learning had they not been recommended to try Mediprospects.
